The Adaptive Athletes project examines the strength, determination and elegance of athletes and their prostheses. By athlete, we are seeking to photograph people across the spectrum, from everyday people to high profile paralympians. The shoots themselves are studio portraits of the athletes in the attire related to their sport (and, when possible, we also photograph them doing their sport).
